In January 2021, real estate transactions plummeted by 12%
The sale of homes in January stood at 34,886 transactions, representing a year-on-year decrease of 12.2%. The average price per m2 of the sold homes was €1,474, which represents a drop of 1.3%
Mortgage loans for the acquisition of a home decreased by 3.8% year-on-year in January, down to 19,267 new loans. Its average amount experienced a slight decline of 0.7% year-on-year, down to €143,528.
