The Parliament approved this Wednesday, October 13, the reform of the Law on Transferred Taxes of the Autonomous Community of Andalusia
The president of the Junta de Andalucía, Juanma Moreno, has assured that the 2022 Budget will strengthen essential public services and bets on job creation and productive sectors.

The president has highlighted the new tax cut of the Legislature, with which a "fairer" Andalusia is made from a tax perspective and becomes a more attractive autonomous community for investment. A measure that, according to what he has said, benefits all Andalusians.
The Parliament has approved today the reform of the Law on Transferred Taxes of the Autonomous Community of Andalusia with the favorable votes of the Popular Party, Citizens, and VOX, to which Moreno expressed his satisfaction with the work done by the Ministry of Finance and European Funding. This is the third tax cut, following those implemented in 2019 and in April of this year.

The Andalusian president has highlighted that with this tax reduction policy, 600 million euros more have been collected. "Despite the pandemic, the reformist agenda of this Government has not stopped for a minute. Andalusia was a fiscal hell and now we are in the top five of the communities with the least tax pressure", he pointed out.
Moreno has assured that this new tax cut also benefits those Andalusians who need it most, the most vulnerable and, in addition, the middle and working classes. "The societies that advance are those that are capable of not exhausting their citizens. We have always believed in that model and we know it works," he declared. The president of the Junta, Juanma Moreno, along with the vice president, Juan Marín, and the Minister of Finance, Juan Bravo, during the plenary.
With this reform, among other taxes, the Property Transfer Tax and the Tax on Legal Acts are reduced and the coverage of the Inheritance and Donations Tax is expanded in favor of siblings, uncles, and nephews. "We arrive with sufficient maturity to this period of the Legislature to fulfill one by one all our electoral commitments".
On the other hand, he emphasized that the 2022 Budget designed by his Government is viable, balanced, and social. Accounts that, as he has stated, not only "support" essential public services but also strengthen them. He also noted that bet on job creation and productive sectors.
"They are a Budget sufficiently open, reasonable, and balanced to be supported by all political groups. I would be very surprised and it would seem to me a mistake if the left and the right do not approve them," he indicated. In this sense, Moreno hopes that the different political forces that make up the parliamentary arc will prioritize the general interest over the particular. "There are parties that are thinking in electoral terms, but I ask them to think about what is good for Andalusia," he continued.
In line with this last point, he emphasized that in this Legislature, as never before in the history of Andalusia, so much information and facilities have been provided in each Budget. In fact, for the first time, amendments from all political groups have been accepted. "We have to do everything we can to enable us to have a Budget in a crucial year for the definitive economic and social recovery of our land", he concluded.
