The tourist homes had a significant boom years ago, so much so that it turned into chaos at the legislative level in this matter, overwhelmed the autonomous communities, faced with laws that did not arrive, due to the lack of consensus, in a sector that has generated millions of Euros, and that in recent months was already experiencing a slowdown due to the large housing stock at the national level.
Currently, and in light of a situation that few or no one could foresee, a pandemic that has affected everything from the souvenir shop that we saw open practically all year on our promenade, to the most luxurious hotel we had in our city or on our coast.
We could think that in these new times ahead, it will be difficult to regain stable monthly income from a vacation home, seeing that right now approximately 4.5 billion people are confined to their homes, living uncertainties about what will happen to tourism this 2020 and next year.
It may be interesting to consider opening the opportunities that housing has, such as a long-term rental, but of course, we must take into account the guarantees that the potential tenant is willing to provide.
