The Finnish-origin group specialized in apartment management will open its first accommodations in Spain in the Chueca neighborhood, given the centrality of this area and its proximity to one of the main arteries of the capital, Gran Vía.
The building acquired by the group is located at Calle Fuencarral 45, featuring studios and one-bedroom apartments. It is a modern construction in a commercial location.
“In our search for the perfect asset, we first focus on identifying the best neighborhoods for Bob,” says Benjamin Russel, real estate director at Bob W.
The Finnish group was advised and supported by the international team of retail property advisor Harper Dennis Hobbs.
In May of this year, Bob W announced that it would bring its concept to the UK with a new building under construction in Whitechapel in East London. The building is scheduled to open in 2022.
Previously, the company raised ten million euros in seed funding, consisting of two tranches of four million euros last year and six million euros this year. At that time, Bob W stated that it would invest the funds to further develop its full-stack technology platform, grow its team, and expand into new and existing markets across Europe.
