You may be disqualified:

- Or, before the legal expiration of the period provided for in the regulations, by requesting voluntary disqualification when the years provided for in the regulations have not elapsed to automatically become a free agent.
There are different terms depending on the type of VPO housing in question and the regulatory plan in which the property is located. The time of official qualification can be between 10 years and 50 years. Although from 1978 onwards, the most common is to find homes that are qualified as VPOs.
Advantages of disqualifying a social housing subsidized housing
When disqualifying a VPO, we can benefit from the following aspects:
- When a property is disqualified , it is free of encumbrances, and therefore, it can be sold or rented at a real market price, without being obliged to sell or rent for the maximum sale price or maximum rent in a rental indicated by the competent public administration.
- The value of the home is increased, which allows us to extend the amount and term of the mortgage loan.
