What requirements must I meet to process my tourist license?
Since not all properties can be designated for tourist use, they must meet the following requirements:
- First and foremost, the property must have an occupancy license that allows it to be inhabited.
- All rooms that make up the property must have direct ventilation, either to the outside or to a patio. Additionally, there must be some type of blackout system on the windows.
- The property must be fully furnished and equipped with everything needed for daily life.
- There must be air conditioning and heating in both the bedrooms and the living room. If the property is located in a building classified as a "cultural heritage site" and the level of protection does not allow for construction or modifications, this requirement will not be mandatory.
- Have a first aid kit.
- Have tourist information about the area available for guests to consult
- Have an active phone number that the guest can call at any time for any incident or question regarding the property.
- Provide a complaints and claims form for tourists.
- Perform a cleaning of the property before the guest's arrival and after their departure.
- Have enough bedding and household items necessary, depending on the occupancy level of the property.
- Provide detailed information about the operation of the appliances, technological devices, and equipment in the property.
- Inform guests of the internal rules regarding the facilities, dependencies, and equipment of the property. Additionally, it should be made clear from the beginning the restrictions regarding pets, smokers, etc.
